The life span of your electronic device or machine will be determined by the way you maintain it.
- Let the moisture go out of your roof vent by opening the vents on your roof after the AC is turned off.
- Keep your fan running. This will help the AC unit to operate more efficiently.
- Protect your RV’s air conditioner when it’s not operating or in off-season. It would be beneficial to invest in a top-quality cover. It will shield your AC unit from rain, snow, UV rays and other dirt.
- Your AC filter needs to be cleaned at least once per month. The air filter must be cleaned at least once a month.
- Your AC shouldn’t be working too hard. To make it less demanding, set the temperature to 24°C. It should only be run when absolutely needed and not continuously.
